LEDs in the News: The Light of Hope
As we navigate the unprecedented Coronavirus crisis, people around the world are finding creative ways to spread hope throughout their communities while maintaining a safe distance from their neighbors. Around the U.S. and the world, many are creating festive light displays to literally add a little brightness to this very dark time.
As with annual holiday displays, LED technology allows participants to share affordable and sustainable cheer.
To offer some encouragement to you, we’re providing a brief round-up of some of these magical displays – big and small – around the world:
Led by Irish president Michael Higgins and his wife Sabina, people across Ireland are encouraged to light up their homes to show support for those suffering from COVID-19. Irish government buildings, the Irish Aviation Authority, Irish embassies across the globe, and everyday Irish citizens are taking part. Find their displays on social media with the hashtag #ShineYourLight.
